This is the book that lies on my bedside table. I have read it many times. The book is full of highlights and side notes. Yes, I love What I talk about when I talk about running, a lot. Haruki Murakami is my favorite writer.

I read this book instead of cleaning my house. It was a very zen experience, lol.

While she was doing her dishes, Lauren Brownwell had a light bulb moment. She could hate doing the dishes. Or she could stop fighting it. She could rather focus on who she is doing the dishes for. Her kids, her husband. Also for herself. It is the small things that add to the richness and depth of life. Tim Gunn gives advice on designing a life you will love, and making it work.

Gunn’s Golden Rules is seriously entertaining. It is like the sugar that you take with your medicine. I liked the informal style of the book. It makes you feel like he is a friend chatting to you over a cup of tea. This book made me a fan of Tim Gunn, and I will recommend it in a heartbeat.

Easy to read poems about being an adult to make you chuckle.

Gabbie Hanna is a comedian and vlogger known for her YouTube channel The Gabbie Show. She is also an actress, author, poet and singer-songwriter. She wrote Adultolescence, a book of poems, which was released on 19 September 2017.  Rest assured, there is nothing boring or majorly deep about her poems that revolves around being an adult. In fact, you will probably have a few “me too!” moments. And definitely a few laugh-out-loud moments too. It reminded me a bit of I Could Pee on This, a book about poems by cats. The poems just hit closer to home in Adultolescence.
